An outdoor sanctuary created just outside my kitchen door.
This cozy space allows me to bundle up on a mild winter day and
be closer to the joys of Nature!
With camera in hand I have a front row seat observing
the activity which is invigorating to my senses
restoring peace and well-being!

Blend some of your indoors outside
and create your own unique winter sanctuary!

What a nice protected area you have here. I love your header photo. Cheers.
this looks like a lovely cosy place to sit and while away some winter days. Have a wonderful week. I am linking up to you through Mosaic Monday.

Dear Anna
thank you so must for your words of comfort on the loss of dear sweet Ben. The kindness of strangers sometimes can undo me!
Your outside retreat looks wonderful, what a spot to rest a while and watch the world go by.

What a cozy spot to spy on the wildlife in the garden! Love the red blanket. We don't have any protected spots for such adventures, just open decks and lots of wind. My dining room window makes for a good viewing spot though. Have fun!
Found you on Mary's MM. What a lovely blog. Your photography is great. We watch the birds from our breakfast room and everytime I try to go outside for shots they all fly away. I guess I need to wrap up and bide my time on the deck. Blessings

What a lovely spot to sit and watch the nature around you. Are you not going to Arizona this year? Valerie
That is so nice. Love that you live where you can do that.

Do I see another squirrel lover here????? I LOVE them. My husband came in tis afternoon with 2 new squirrel feeders and LOTS of food for my little buddies. Your mosaic is precious as is your little off-the-kitchen hide out/cubby hole. It put a big smile on my face. Great red blanket. genie
Beautiful images. I am glad you have such a retreat- xo Diana
It is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy your sanctuary. Love the cute squirrel and photos. Have a happy day!
You have a far lovelier outside than I do, I think! Lizzie Cosette and I have been sitting by our window, watching our squirrels and birds and smiling! Not so lovely a spot as yours, but warmer!
Very pretty and I adore that black Squirrel...really a lovely little chap...oh and so are the other little creatures too;')~
Love the pop of red! I'm not a big fan of winter but your outdoor retreat would certainly entice me to venture out and enjoy nature's gifts. Hugs, twt
I am fond of hanging out in our cabin too during winter time. Which makes me want to suggest that having log-cabins are nice place to hang-out and just get cozy.
